Implementing Sakoku Decree for Better Country

Sakoku means ‘Chained Country’

For 214 years, Japan isolated itself from outside world for removing religious and colonial influences especially from Portugal and Spain.

In its implementation, Japan prohibit its citizens for leaving the country with death penalty and severely restricts foreigners from coming to Japan. The result? This Sakoku decree makes Japan found its own culture like sumo wrestling and tea ceremony. Sakoku also helps Japan economy by focusing exchange and paying taxes using rice.

As you can see, by removing influences from outside world like Japan do, Japan can create its own culture, solving its own problem, makes its own color that change the worldview into its country and citizens.

The question is right now is it possible for do sakoku nowadays? i don’t know the answer literally.

But lets imagine!

For example an independent country that didn’t receive any knowledge about treating COVID-19, will there be a regulation on wearing a mask or getting vaccines? What if they do something new to overcome that? like using a herbal plant maybe?

whatever that country does, thats can make a new color for the country. does it cool?
